Platform purpose
TrustRail provides software for creating escrow-protected transactions, coordinating verified delivery, and recording evidence for social commerce trades.
TrustRail is not a marketplace for listing goods and does not guarantee the quality, legality, or condition of items sold by users.
Eligibility and account responsibilities
Users must be eligible to enter binding agreements under the governing law placeholder and must provide accurate account and contact information.
Users are responsible for protecting their passwords, devices, verification links, QR codes, and delivery PINs.
Buyer responsibilities
Buyers should review item details, delivery location, fees, and seller information before paying.
Buyers should share QR codes or PINs only when the item has been inspected and handover is acceptable.
Seller responsibilities
Sellers must describe items accurately, provide evidence when requested, and assign riders using accurate rider contact and payout details.
Sellers are responsible for ensuring items are lawful, safe to transport, and not prohibited by TrustRail policy.
Rider responsibilities
Riders must use their assigned rider link, complete QR or PIN verification only at the real handover point, and avoid sharing rider sessions with others.
Rider payouts may differ from seller payout timing according to backend rules and provider processing.
Transactions, evidence, and prohibited goods
Transaction records may include item descriptions, photos, pickup and delivery locations, QR scans, GPS evidence, device information, audit logs, and communications.
Prohibited goods include illegal, unsafe, counterfeit, restricted, or otherwise policy-violating items. A complete prohibited goods list requires legal and operations approval.
Payments, fees, and escrow protection
Payments are processed through third-party payment providers. TrustRail may display payment status, escrow status, and payout status based on provider and backend records.
Platform fees and delivery fee payer rules should be shown before payment. Seller payout may be delayed or held where rules, disputes, refunds, or provider behavior require it.
QR verification, PIN verification, and tracking
QR codes are intended for one-time handover verification. PIN fallback is available when supported by backend state and should be shared only after item inspection.
Location and tracking evidence may be used to support delivery verification, dispute review, fraud prevention, and audit history.
Disputes, refunds, and suspension
Disputes may hold or affect payout eligibility while evidence is reviewed. Refunds are not automatically guaranteed and depend on transaction state, evidence, provider behavior, and TrustRail policy.
TrustRail may suspend or restrict accounts, rider sessions, or transactions where misuse, fraud, prohibited goods, or unsafe behavior is suspected.
Service availability, third parties, and liability
TrustRail depends on third-party providers for payments, messaging, hosting, maps, and other infrastructure. Availability and delivery times may vary.
Limitation of liability, policy change, and formal contact terms must be finalized by legal counsel before launch.
